Held each September. Meet the team, hear how the season runs, and ask questions before committing.

1st tryout: Writing sample

Submit a short written piece. Shows your analysis and composition — no prior legal experience required.

2nd tryout: In-person (by invitation)

If your writing sample advances, you'll be invited to an in-person round — a short direct exam or opening statement.

Requirements

What we expect

Thursday evenings, 3:30–5:30 PM in Room 214. Mandatory during competition weeks.

Witnesses memorize affidavits. Attorneys must know all exhibits and evidentiary rules.

All members prep prosecution and defense. You may be assigned either side on competition day.

Academic eligibility maintained per WIAA and school activity policy standards.
